Scarlet Temptation — Original Artwork

Scarlet Temptation is an original hand-drawn artwork by A Humble Black Artist, built around one of the oldest symbols of temptation—the serpent and the forbidden fruit.

A coiled snake moves through a stark network of dark branches, its body twisting toward a single vivid red apple. Rendered primarily in black and white, the composition uses selective color to make the fruit impossible to ignore, turning it into the visual center of the piece and reinforcing the tension between desire, danger, and temptation.

Detailed scales, layered shading, and the twisting forms of the serpent and branches create movement throughout the composition, while the restrained palette gives the red apple even greater presence.

Measuring 9¾ × 14 inches, Scarlet Temptation is an original work on paper created with pencil, marker, colored pencil, and outlining pen.

This listing is for the one-of-one original artwork—not a print or reproduction. Once the original is sold, it is gone.
