Beyond the Savannah began as an experiment inspired by watching an artist create a striking landscape using spray paint and silhouettes. I loved how quickly and simply the scene came together and wanted to try the technique for myself. Once I finished the original piece, though, it still felt a little too plain. I wanted to push it somewhere unexpected.

Using AI as a creative enhancement tool, I reimagined the original landscape with a science-fiction atmosphere. Additional moons and planets appeared in the sky, futuristic structures emerged along the horizon, and small blue lights scattered throughout the scene gave the savannah an otherworldly glow.

What began as an experiment with a familiar spray-paint and silhouette technique eventually became something much more personal. By pushing the landscape into an unexpected science-fiction world, Beyond the Savannah evolved from a traditional scene into something distinctly its own—a meeting point between handmade artwork, digital technology, and imagination.
