Daughter of Dahomey draws inspiration from the Dora Milaje of Black Panther and the real African women warriors who inspired them—the legendary Dahomey Amazons. Featuring a historic image of one of these fierce warriors, the lion behind her symbolizes their strength, courage, and fearlessness. The dripping effect gives the piece a contemporary edge while honoring the powerful legacy of African warrior women.
